Welcome to the Old Landmark!

The book of Proverbs warns us:  “Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set” (22.28).  Landmarks are mnemonic features that establish boundaries and remind us of a location’s significance.  The articles published here are an effort to fortify the landmarks of our Apostolic faith by recalling our priceless heritage and the heroic and anointed efforts of men and women of God who sacrificed to stand for Bible truths.

Through an analysis of Chruch history from a uniquely Apostolic Pentecostal perspective, The Old Landmark will hopefully provide readers with a broader understanding of our past and a deeper appreciation for the faithful lives of those who have stood for tenets of Apostolic truth throughout the Church Age!

The Bible says that we are to stand in the way and ask for the old paths. To find an old path you must first find the old landmark. I thank God for these men who sought out those old ways and left landmarks for us to follow. May we also leave new landmarks where the old ones sit, so that those who follow us will walk in the old paths that we are in.
